July – December 2025

SAHA Studio’s 10th Term is Beginning!

Founded by SAHA in 2019 as a program for research, interaction, and creation to support the independent production of visual artists, curators, and writers, SAHA Studio begins its 10th term between July-December 2025 with Can Memişoğulları (Istanbul), Suat Öğüt (Amsterdam), Neval Tarım (Istanbul), Gizem Ünlü (Istanbul), and Mk Yurttaş (Istanbul).

With a focus on research, production, and interaction, SAHA Studio offers resident artists a six-month program that includes a personal workspace, a stipend, and a production budget, while also aiming to enrich their creative processes. Throughout the term, artists regularly meet with art professionals from SAHA’s national and international collaboration networks, including guests of the Curatorial Program, members of the Selection and Advisory Board, and the program alumni – expanding their networks and receive feedback that contributes to their projects.

Located within the İMÇ complex, the program spaces are surrounded by a rich production environment that brings together craftspeople from various sectors, creative enterprises, and different art disciplines. This setting provides SAHA Studio artists not only with a physical space but also with an inspiring and multilayered context, fostering interdisciplinary approaches in the development of their work respectively.

Throughout the term, the artists also take part in various public events where they share their research and production processes with audiences. As in previous terms, a mid-term gathering is planned for September, following the opening of the 18th Istanbul Biennial. At the end of the term, the public program SAHA Studio Open will take place in December, where the projects developed within the scope of the 10th term will be presented in various formats.&nbsp,
